Each taco was bursting with flavor and the perfect amount of spice. The condiments added an extra kick that took these tacos to the next level. I couldn't get enough of the tender lamb, it was absolutely mouth-watering. I can't wait to try the other meats next time I order from here. If you're a taco lover like me, this place is a must-try!

I had heard so much about this restaurant and I finally had the chance to check it out after being inspired by Cristina Martinez's story on Chef's Table. From the moment I walked in, I felt a sense of warmth and family that reminded me of holidays spent with loved ones. One thing to note is that they only accept cash, so make sure to come prepared. My friends and I only had card on us, but the staff generously comped our lunch since we had traveled all the way from California. It was such a kind gesture that really touched my heart. The food itself was authentic and delicious, without any unnecessary frills. If you're ever in Philadelphia, be sure to stop by this place for a taste of true hospitality and amazing cuisine.

I recently visited this restaurant, now called El Compadre, and I have to say that it still lives up to its reputation for serving the best tacos I've ever had! The flavors were exquisite and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend stopping by for a delicious meal.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by Pineapple Raisin Tamale. Seriously, if you have the chance to try it, don't hesitate – get two, or three! It's just that good. While the tacos are popular, I feel like the tamales deserve more love. They're so unique and delicious! I tried both the Lamb and Pork tacos, and while both were tasty, the Pork taco was definitely my favorite. The lamb was a little dry for my liking, but still flavorful. If you have to take your food to-go because the seating is limited, make sure to eat them while they're fresh! My only complaint is that I wished they had better hours so I could visit more often. Overall, a great spot for unique and delicious food. Can't wait to go back!
